
Dr. Edmar Camargo, IEEE Senior Member, is a practicing and research engineer in the field of mmWave, RF & Microwave Technology. Dr. Camargo’s professional interests include MMIC/Hybrid Circuit design at rf, microwave and millimeter-wave bands for wireless, broadband and high speed technologies. He has previously held technical leadership positions at Hewlett Packard, Fujitsu, Iterra, Watkins-Johnson and RFMD from 1993 to 2009. After the closure of the Scotts Valley RFMD design center he became consultant/contractor to a few industries in Silicon Valley. On early 2013 he started working as Principal Engineer at Quinstar Technology, Inc. in Torrance, California.
Dr Camargo is an IEEE Senior Member and active on MTT society activities. He was Officer of the MTT Santa Clara chapter between1995/1999, was the Workshop co-Chair for the 1996 Symposium and Workshop Chair for the IMS 2006 Symposium both held in San Francisco. He was a member of the IMS Technical Program Committee for 11 years and is presently member of Technical Program Sub-Committee 22, “Frequency Generation and Signal Conversion” of IEEE MTT Society.
